Job Type: Fixed Term – 12 Months / Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, hybrid working (2–3 days onsite per week)

The role:

We are currently looking to recruit a People Coordinator to join our collaborative and high-performing People Team. This role is a key part of our People Shared Services function, providing efficient, high-quality administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle. You will act as a first point of contact for People-related queries and be instrumental in maintaining compliance, data accuracy, and driving continuous improvement in our processes.

Key Duties:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries, delivering a proactive and professional HR service.
  • Manage onboarding and pre-employment checks (DBS, references, right to work, visas, registration) for new starters.
  • Administer employee lifecycle transactions in the iTrent HR system, including new starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Maintain data accuracy and compliance across systems and shared inboxes.
  • Support right-to-work compliance including UKVI Sponsor Management System updates.
  • Oversee key lifecycle processes such as probation, compliance tracking, and employee file management.
  • Troubleshoot HR systems queries, maintain organisational hierarchy and support training on iTrent and People Manager.
  • Coordinate team activities such as financial advice sessions, communications, and work experience placements.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and excellent customer service across the People team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience working within an HR/People function providing end-to-end administrative support.
  • Strong knowledge of HR lifecycle processes, right to work checks, and compliance standards.
  • Experience using HR systems (ideally iTrent or similar) for data management and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Professional, discreet, and reliable, with a proactive mindset and collaborative approach.
